Cumberland Presbyterian Women’s Ministry
(CPWM)
Cumberland Presbyterian Women’s Ministry is a ministry for the Cumberland Presbyterian Church that involves women of all ages. The purpose of the CPWM is to accept and share the love and joy of Jesus Christ through this ministry of women in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. We seek to do this as we pray, study God’s Word, and reach out to others through mission, service, encouragement, and fellowship opportunities.
We live out our mission through local service projects. We have helped make blankets for the foster children in Alabama through “Fleecing the Flock” non-profit. We have donated snacks for the jail ministry of Shelby County. We have also put together baskets of goodies for the shut-ins of our church. In the past, we have organized transportation to and from church for those unable to do so themselves.
We fund our projects with bake sales and lunches after Worship.
We embark on field trips, game nights and other social events to help us develop meaningful relationships with each other.
All women are welcome to join us. Come and help us accomplish our mission together.
