PCF: Children K-6

Thanks for taking time to read about our Presbyterian Children’s Fellowship!  Each year, the children from K – 6th grade enjoy discipleship, fellowship and food with a year-long theme.  This year, we focus on the fact that “God’s Love is Global” and are experiencing the games, foods, music, crafts, and festivals of God’s children in faraway lands.  We meet each Wednesday evening from 5:30PM – 7:30PM.   Although we do focus on a particular country each month, each week stands alone, so you are welcome to join in any time during the year.

All Are Welcome. And bring your friends!

If your child may be uneasy because he or she may not know any of the other kids, new kids are always warmly welcomed, and your child may also invite a friend.  Several of our participants began as a bring-along-buddy and have remained to play and fellowship with us regularly.

Active in Our Community

We are active here in the community, as well.  For example, we make Christmas ornaments that we deliver to a local nursing home, we participate in the Alabaster Christmas Parade, and we host a special “tea” event in the spring for the wonderful widows of the church and community.

Our Children Are Growing Disciples

We take our commitment to children seriously and value them as growing disciples who have gifts to share in active ministry at any age.   We learn so much from them even as we teach them and serve alongside them.  They are precious in God’s sight—and ours!
