Over three years ago a 70+ couple in Baltimore, Md. sold their florist/nursery business and took the giant step of moving South to the Birmingham, Al. area. (Pretty brave I think!).
They bought a home in Ammersee Lakes and settled in near their only daughter Shirley and her husband John who reside in Montevallo. One day they were passing our church and saw words “Open House”. (Remember our church is a house – open to all). That’s for us, they decided, and once they attended it never occurred to them to try any other church.
Frank and Margaret Greller are church and civic minded, belonging to or participating in American Village activities, volunteering at the Sheriff’s office/jail, R.S.V.P., Joy Club, Logos and anywhere else they are needed. They are “young at heart”. By the way, after their move here, their daughter and son-in-law presented them with Sophia, princess of their hearts and a delightful little girl!
Guess it was fate for both that Margaret went to a dance nearly 48 years ago although she “wasn’t a dancer”. When you see this couple let them know you appreciate their dedication to FPCA.
