Image  Each year the Youth of FPC, Alabaster  have participated in the "Souper Bowl" program. This program takes place every year on the day of the Super Bowl on television. Youth all over the United States collect donations of money or food and donate it to a local organization that work with people who are in need of assistance.

One of our core values at FPCA is that "we do not exist for ourselves alone. We follow Jesus example by giving of ourselves in serving the community."  The Souper Bowl is a simple effort to fulfill this by encouraging people to give one dollar each as they leave worship on Super Bowl Sunday. Every penny collected is sent directly to a local  soup kitchen, food bank or food assistance program. For more info on the Souper Bowl or for total of how much our youth group has collected each year since 2000, you can go to the SOUPER BOWL website at http://www.souperbowl.org/
