FPCA is one of the groups that helps to stock the food pantry for the Shelby Emergency Assistance program. During the month donations can be left in the shopping cart in the Church Narthex--at the end ofthe month the donations are transported to S.E.A..  They also appreciate donations such as personal hygeine products ( shampoo, deoderant, etc.), diapers, and other non perishible baby items (these are preferred due to the fact that donations of canned or dry goods and other non perishibles  are easier to store and will last longer.)

The Shelby Emergency Assistance Program office is located in Montevallo but helps families all across Shelby County in need of food and clothing.

They also accept donations for clothing and other items to use in the "Twice as Nice " Store in downtown Montevallo. Those types of items need to donated at the store and you may want to contact the store before you bring them. They may have a scheduled "drop off" time and place. The funds raised at the store benefits the S.E. A. program.
