OUR BEDROCK BELIEFS

We , the First Presbyterian Church of Alabaster, a Cumberland Congregation, believe that:

"Trust in God is the foundation of faith"

"God is the Creator of all things, the beginning and the end . We owe our existence to God."

The presence of God is experienced through he Trinity: God the Father, God the Son , and God the Holy Ghost."

"Grace is the unconditional love of God for all. The love of god is accepting and merciful and just."

"Prayer is essential to our relationship with God. Prayer provides a means of communication with god. Prayer provides a means of communication with god and helps us focus on the unending presence of God."

"Jesus is our shepherd. Longing to become more like Christ, we in turn shepherd others."

"Through God all may have hope and purpose."

 "God resurrected Jesus from the dead. God defeated death and brought new life eternal to all those who trust in Christ."
